What can I say?! This gorgeous vintage Navajo turquoise and sterling silver cuff is a showstopper.
I’ll go back and measure the size of the piece of turquoise in this cuff and add it shortly. But it is definitely at least an inch. A beautiful blue piece that is surrounded with sterling silver looped rope design and three large silver beads that are stamped-the central one looks to be maybe a bear paw. Going back from the center of the cuff, it is solid on the front and divided into four lateral sections via incised line and marks. As it goes around the side of the wrist, it becomes a split shank bracelet.
The bracelet is signed on the back with a large C. There are three Navajo artists that sign their jewelry with this Hallmark, but I believe this bracelet was made by Cester Charley. Please do your own online research to identify the artist.
Note that there is age related patina visible on the bracelet
