3M™ Aluminum Foil Tape is an annealed aluminum foil tape with acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive. The foil also serves as an excellent barrier against moisture, dust, flame, and certain chemicals. Acrylic adhesive supplies superior temperature, U.V. and solvent resistance. 3M™ Aluminum Foil Tape is a 1.4 mil (35 micron) high strength dead soft aluminum foil coated with an acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive. The malleable foil applies easily to both fibrous and sheet metal ducts and conforms to irregular surfaces. 3M™ tape excels in demanding temperature and humidity applications and provides good performance and durability over a wide range of environmental conditions.
